Hailing from Brighton, England, Leigh is the only member of SkyDusters not to have grown up  in Southern California. 

Leigh picked up his first guitar (an old 3/4 steel string Fender) aged 6, and is an almni of BIMM Brighton. His solo hits pre-SkyDusters include Billboard Hot 100 number one Pitch Black and summer anhtem Helios. While on vacation in LA twelve years ago, Leigh wandered into a bar one night and saw Shipwreck, Ethan Edwards and Endy Moin's student band. Immediately floored by their talent, he convinced them to ditch their studies at UCLA and form a band with him instead—and so SkyDusters was born.

In his spare time, Leigh loves to hang out with his wife Jennifer, hike the local SoCal canyons, and cook (badly). The oldest member of SkyDusters, he prides himself on also being the most spontaneous.

Leigh is a spokesperson for the Adalita Mental Health Society, advocating for better understanding of mental illness in general, and bipolar disorder in particular.
